About Anne Goodall’s Practice – Clinical Hypnotherapist Wollongong
The founder of Illawarra Hypnotherapy, Anne Goodall is a pioneering hypnotherapist based in Black Mountain, Queensland. Leveraging decades of experience, education, and her own brand of a tried-and-tested therapeutic approach, she specialises in three core areas of service: Intuitive eating, anxiety, and addiction.
Prior to founding her own treatment centre, Anne pursued qualifications in neurolinguistic programming and timeline therapy, a diploma in nutrition, and an advanced diploma in western herbal medicine. This, together with the work she does with her clients, has provided her covetous access to the Australian Hypnotherapists’ Association.
Hypnotherapy is a deeply-researched and scientific tool for psychological and physiological support. In fact, it is considered a protective mechanism that exists naturally within humans, helping individuals cope with fear, disorientation or severe psychological and physical stress. Contrary to popular opinion, clients only reach a deep state of calm, as opposed to sleep, helping them become more open and accepting of the support provided by a hypnotherapist like Anne.
There is even evidence that this type of therapy can improve mental power, resilience, self-esteem and memory.
Through her clinic, Anne has been able to work with many clients in the NSW area and is deeply dedicated to their wellbeing. Her work comes highly recommended by the people she works with, who have described their treatment as something that makes a positive difference in their lives. Drawing on her own experiences with anxiety and claustrophobic tendencies, she helps clients work through their own challenges with a personalised touch; one that she has become renowned for. Having struggled and overcome various health challenges, she is acutely aware of the experiences her clients go through, helping her make authentic connections that put in effect the therapeutic benefits of hypnotherapy.
Given her professional accreditations and the highly sensitive work Anne is involved in, Illawarra Hypnotherapy is governed by a sworn code of ethics, where patient confidentiality and wellbeing are at the forefront of everything they do.
In light of the recent changes in public health policies, her clinic has made certain changes to how their sessions are carried out but remains fully operational and committed to helping people during this crucial time.
