About Geordie Thompson’s Practice, Clinical Hypnotherapist Bicton
Geordie is a Solution Focused Clinical Hypnotherapist with a keen interested in helping people with pain (sensation) issues.
We can have small sensations and large emotional responses or strong sensations with only minor emotional responses. This indicates that pain is subjective and chronic pain, where there is no longer any tissue damage, is primarily an old safety signal being generated in our mind.
Geordie uses a range of techniques to help the client break the pattern and reset the sensation to normal so they can move forward more comfortably.
With over 40 years of teaching and training in Martial arts Geordie is an experienced developer of people’s potential and understands that in order to grow some challenges are necessary and useful. His calm and compassionate style enable clients to reconnect with their own resources in order to move through trauma and enjoy their post-traumatic growth.
Geordie provides a safe and empowering environment where fear based challenges such as anxiety and depression can be resolved and reframed enabling the client to move forward with greater confidence and competence.
Geordie works in a number of venues both north and south of the river in Perth.
