Welcome! My name is Frankie, I am a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Strategic Psychotherapist at Mindfree Hypnotherapy.

First off, I’m so glad you’re here – on the hunt for the right person and method to help you create the changes you want.

*What problems can Frankie help with?

It’s my privilege to guide clients to change their experience of limitations such as dental phobia, anxiety and self-esteem.

*How is support provided?

Currently I consult with clients mainly via Telehealth consultation, as most clients find it highly convenient! No carving out extra time for navigating traffic or parking, and sessions in the comfort of their own home. However, I can also see clients in counselling rooms located in North Fitzroy (VIC) if preferred.

*A little about Frankie

I come to this profession partly due to my own search to improve my own mental health and effectiveness. So I can truly relate with clients, wherever they are at when I first meet them.

My previous profession was 11 years in the superannuation (finance) industry, so I know what it is to live the busy corporate life. It took me a long time to realise it wasn’t right for me, but I learned a lot!

This experience helps me to understand clients who are navigating pressured work environments and expectations, alongside their other life commitments, and personal needs.

*What approach and techniques are used?

Even with similar types of problems, no two clients are the same!

A combination of strategic psychotherapy, clinical hypnotherapy and other complimentary techniques provides my clients with a dynamic and personalised approach.

*Many a method

Did you know that there are over 400 types of psychotherapy and even multiple variations of hypnotherapy? I was staggered when I learned this!

Without getting bogged down in detail, the methods I found work for me and use today are both ‘strategic’ and ‘permissive’.

In my own search for support, I wanted practical guidance – how do I CHANGE what I am experiencing? How can I EMPOWER myself?

‘Strategic’ means that the therapy is focussed on outcomes and positive change, rather than fixating on the root cause of issues. ”Where are we heading from here”, rather than the history of our problem.

‘Permissive’ means that the client is in control, suggestions are made but what you take on and what you leave is entirely up to you. You are empowered to explore resources in yourself and in the world around you.

*How do I know if Frankie or her approach are right for me?

Well, the best way is to contact me and have a quick chat! It is important that you feel at ease, as rapport is a very important part of any therapy.

We can talk through your journey so far, check that my approach is appropriate for you and that we ‘click’.

There is no pressure if it isn’t the right fit either, and I’ll be honest about whether what you’d like to achieve is within my scope.
