About Angela Harris’s Practice

I am a professional clinical hypnotherapist and am really passionate about the use of hypnosis to facilitate positive change for my clients. I am a certified member of the Australian Association of Clinical hypnotherapists and Psychotherapists (AACHP).

I am committed to helping you achieve the change you want with peace of mind and have over 25 years experience in the health and wellbeing industry as a Registered Nurse and Midwife. This solid foundation in health science, together with a safe, sensible and caring approach will empower you to achieve your goals using my skills in hypnotherapy, mindfulness and counselling.

I have also completed training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with Dr Russ Harris (Author of The Happiness Trap) which utilizes mindfulness skills and your values to enhance your ability to make the changes you want to live a rich and meaningful life.

I have recently trained with Dr Simone Peters in Gut Directed Hypnotherapy for Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
