About Vanessa’s Practice

vanessa cameloMy practice focuses on helping people move forward when they feel stuck — whether that shows up as stress, anxiety, overthinking, or repeating patterns that are hard to break.

I use hypnotherapy combined with structured, practical tools to help clients identify and change subconscious patterns, regulate their nervous system, and respond differently in real-life situations. The focus is not just on insight, but on creating change that holds outside the session.

I am also developing a focus in gut-directed hypnotherapy (IBS), supporting the connection between the brain and digestive system. This is particularly relevant for people whose symptoms are influenced by stress, ongoing mental load, or heightened nervous system responses.

I have a particular interest in the gut–brain axis and how stress patterns are expressed in the body, and how retraining these responses can support both physical and emotional wellbeing.

Many clients I work with are already doing the “right things,” but their system is still reacting in a way that keeps them stuck — either mentally, emotionally, or physically. My role is to help retrain that response so both mind and body can move forward more effectively.

My approach is grounded, practical, and designed to integrate into everyday life — not just the session itself.

Hypnotherapy is a central tool within the Between Versions method.

It is the primary way we:

  • work directly with subconscious patterns
  • update identity-level responses
  • create change that is felt immediately, not just understood

It is evidence-informed, structured, and collaborative.

Sessions are intentional, contained, and oriented toward functional change.

It is not:

  • stage hypnosis
  • performative work

The aim is regulation, recalibration, and internal stability.
