About Kim Michelle Hansen’s Practice

Clinical Hypnotherapist Mudgee NSW
I am Masters qualified, with over 30 years experience in the fields of Counselling, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Clinical Neuropsychotherapy & Special Education. My practice is professional, ethical, private & confidential.

Being a child, adolescent and young adult specialist, with over 30 years experience, my passion for working with young people was realised when I began my career as a teacher, in both  primary and high school settings. I later specialized in the area of learning difficulties. I have successfully combined my knowledge of neuroscience, child and adolescent development, learning and behaviour with Clinical Neuropsychotherapy, Counselling, Clinical Hypnotherapy and Special Education, to support good mental health and wellbeing.

This unique array of skills enables me to work therapeutically, while appreciating the difficulties experienced by young people, as they navigate  family life, independence, relationships and dealing with the pressures of school, TAFE or University and career.

I regularly attend ongoing professional development in the form of conferences, workshops and study, to keep me informed and up to date on current good mental health practices. My special area of interest is in working with teens and young adults with anxiety & depression.

My recent studies in neuropsychotherapy, has led to me being certified as a Clinical Neuropsychotherapy Practitioner. Neuroscience informs my counselling & clinical hypnotherapy practice and is an exciting science backed approach to treatment.
